How to correctly install a suspension strut top kit (KB) when changing a shock absorber strut on the vehicle

Remove the wheel on the relevant side.

Undo the stabiliser bar.

Disconnect the brake hose from the shock absorber strut n order to reposition correctly, place a mark to facilitate reassembly).

Undo the shock absorber stabiliser bar linkage.

Loosen the steering knuckle nut.

Loosen the nut securing the shock absorber rod to the yoke and remove the shock absorber.

Position the shock absorber in the spring compressor.

Compress the spring.

Remove the suspension stop and change the shock absorber.
When changing the shock absorber, also remember to change the suspension stops.

Reinstall the new suspension stop kit.
Check the shock absorber boot seal and replace it if defective.

Release the spring.
Pay attention to the direction of Reassembly of the parts.

Refit the parts (in the reverse order to removal), observing the tightening torques.
