Removal and fitting of a rear brake disc with integrated hub (KF)
How do you correctly change a rear brake disc hub (KF)?

Place the vehicle on the ramp
Brake discs are safety devices. They should always be changed in pairs.

Remove the rear wheels.
Never use, used grease caps.

Remove the brake caliper with its clevis and the brake pads. When changing the brake disc, it is also advisable to change the brake pads.

Remove the sealing plugs from the hubs (discard them).

Loosen the stub axle nut.

Remove the old brake disc

Refit the new brake disc.
To facilitate fitting of the disc hub, we recommend the use of a pre-centring sleeve: OM 4217 Set of 8 pre-centring sleeves for fitting disc hubs.

Tighten to torque using the new nut supplied in the SNR kit.

Refit the new sealing plug.

After pushing back the brake caliper piston, reinstall the brake pads and caliper.

Refit the wheel.

Depress the brake pedal several times to bring the brake pads back into contact with the brake disc.
